The Female Archetypes was born out of my personal experience navigating the changes in my body after becoming a mother. With 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, I’ve always curated my wardrobe with care. After my daughter was born, the pursuit of jeans that would fit and flatter my new body, in all its confusing transience and permanence pushed me to the brink. 

I realised that our bodies are constantly evolving, whether through pregnancy, menopause, trauma, ill health, age or fitness. Throughout life, our bodies remain dynamic and I wanted clothing that was up to the challenge. 

So, I founded The Female Archetypes, a brand dedicated to designing clothing that meets women where they are, without requiring them to change. My vision is to empower women both in body and mind, offering shapeshifting, adjustable, high-quality garments, eliminating the need for both discomfort and restocking the wardrobe when the garment might no longer be fit for purpose.
